Exactly a year ago today, an artist named Stelios Arcadious unveiled his newest exhibit in Liverpool England. It was an ear, grown in a lab and implanted on his arm. Arcadious, a performance artist known for pushing the boundaries of contemporary art, spent 10 years looking for a surgeon who would be willing to perform the operation.
"I hope to have a tiny microphone implanted to it that will connect with a bluetooth transmitter; that way you can listen to what my ear is hearing.", art "should be more than simply illustrating ideas," Arcadious explained in an interview.
Keep this in mind when you say "I eat, breath and sleep ART." The real question is: Is it IN you?!
