She might be from the other side of the Atlantic, but Stiekema oozes a translucent sensuality that’s almost Brazilian—serious sex appeal and a little bit of ‘je ne sais quoi’ that you can’t quite put your finger on. But you can rest assured that this blonde bombshell is staying grounded, even if standing tall at 5'10" does make the her want to reach for the stars.

Art in Any Form, The Process Must Be Unique

Utilizing a Canon Rebel DSLR, a green LED keychain, and own unique composition and process, San Diego native Ryan Cashman conjured up a pretty entertaining stop-motion. Check it out, its done by setting the exposure to 20-30 seconds, drawing the LED piano player, then stringing all the photos together in computer.

I really like this piece because of the sketch-like appearance, its nice to see the sketch roughness at such a large scale. Not to mention the shear "Holy-shit" factor, how'd he do that?

The project in Harmonia Street is located in a neighborhood in the west side of São Paulo, where artistic life and creativity penetrates easily, where galleries and walls are mixed up, functioning as a stage for new expression forms. The alley in front of the building is an example - its graffiti present a concept of experimentation that flows out from the street into the construction.

If you have lived in Los Angeles for a while, you have probably seen some of the work of artist 20mg. His pill stickers and posters can be seen on street corners and walls all over the city. Here is a recent favorite of mine. Everyone could use a dose, here's 20mg, call me in the morning.

Gold Bike Crystal Edition

Aurumania has created a limited edition line of ten hand-built 24 carat gold 'track bikes'. "Every visible surface plated with 24-carat gold and adorned with more than 600 Swarovski Crystals." It's the most expensive bike in the world, at 80,000 Euros. But think of it as an insurance plan, if shit ever hits the fan and times are bad, you can get on your bike and ride straight to the pawn shop.

Electric Lease

Pininfarina, who is famous for designing a number of the Ferrari cars, is developing an electric car with the help of French battery company Bollore. They aim to make it available in Europe, Japan and America by the end of 2010.

MUSCLE from the GM Vault

The XP-755 Mako Shark show car was designed by Larry Shinoda under the direction of GM Design head Bill Mitchell in 1961, as a concept for future Chevrolet Corvettes. In keeping with the name, the streamlining, pointed snout, and other detailing was partly inspired by the look of that very fast fish. The "Mako Shark" was very similar to the 1963 Corvette, with a couple alterations.

Too Much Oxycontin

On the September 22 broadcast of his syndicated radio show, Rush Limbaugh baselessly claimed that Sen. Barack Obama is "not black."

LIMBAUGH: These polls on how one-third of blue-collar white Democrats won't vote for Obama because he's black, and -- but he's not black. Do you know he has not one shred of African-American blood? He doesn't have any African -- that's why when they asked whether he was authentic, whether he's down for the struggle. He's Arab. You know, he's from Africa. He's from Arab parts of Africa. He's not -- his father was -- he's not African-American. The last thing that he is is African-American. I guess that's splitting hairs, I don't -- it's just all these little things, everything seems upside-down today in this country.

Is this guy serious, is this even a relevant debate? I feel like I am taking crazy pills! Oh wait thats just Limbaugh, who used to consume, on average, 20 Oxycontin on a DAILY basis. I bet I can find crackheads on skid row less fucked up then him. Who actually listens to this guy?
