Lupe Fiasco has become the front man for a band called Japanese Cartoon. Fiasco, who hinted on several occasions in 2008 that he would soon retire, is still working on what he says will be his final album as a rapper, 'LupE.N.D'. It is now being rumored that after 'LupE.N.D''s release, Fiasco will continue making music with Japanese Cartoon, under the name Percival Fats.
Some blogs like this one were reporting a story from Japanese Cartoon's Myspace that Percival Hindenberg-Fats is not Lupe but rather a close family friend. And further that Fiasco is only a financier and producer for the group. THAT'S A LIE. Oh how naive. It states that 'Fats' real name is Wasalu Muhammad Jaco, which is just a joke for all you untrained bloggers. That is Lupe's real name, its just a cleaver trick probably by him to help destroy the Lupe Fiasco identity as a whole. Check out these two gems, and decide for yourself if you like it.
