"Disciple" of the famous Parisian photographer Jacques Florch, PHOKS who sees himself as a "photographist", has built a nice reputation in less than three years by imposing hiw own universe: high-tech imagery, flashy colors, Working contrast, anachronism, by also mixing its various influences such as cartoons, pop culture, sneakers and fashion in all its forms.
PHOKS will be doing a new exhibition in PARIS on the 20th of June called "KICKS SERIES" which skillfully blending photos of sneakers NIKE DUNK HI, JORDAN or AIR FORCE with overlays of cultural icons, all in black and white tones. More photos after the jump... (via)
