ilovedust | Eames Chair

Constructed from sculpted forms of moulded plywood, the DCW chair was designed by Ray and Charles Eames in 1946 to comfortably fit the body. These now iconic pieces of furniture have endured to become mid-century modern day classics. Super design firm, ilovedust "have sought to complement the chair’s aesthetic integrity with a tailor-made design drawing inspiration from the relationship between the designers. Based on a dialogue conducted between Ray and Charles during the unveiling of the chair on the Arlene Francis ‘Home’ show broadcast in 1956, each chair has a unique pattern pertaining to one of the designers. Each pattern was carefully applied by hand, making these exclusive classics a must-have one of a kind. The design also runs across a limited edition set of green and blue printed cushions. As a final addition, a specially commissioned hand-screened print is available to buy." More pictures after the flop...
