London-based Levitate Architects came up with this ingenious design to answer the design question their costumer posed. Tons of book storage, but in a tiny flat, space was very limited to say the least. The architects chose to make a staircase hidden from the main living room, into a library staircase. Limited by space, and piled high with books to store, the designers created the library staircase out of English oak, filling the staircase steps and shelves with books. Its a very god use of space, and it is also a great way to show your books off, that is if you have a full blown library already. See more after the leap... (via)
