I don't know when the freestyle became something that wasn't freely-styled in that moment on the fly. But it somehow lost its meaning in hip-hop. Here is a "freestyle" that is pretty cool, but Wiz is reading it off his iPad. So what makes it a real free style? Other rappers, just do the same 'freestyle' over and over a couple times (once on BET once on WSHH, etc.) that shit isn't free either. That's a verse! I am just saying. And plus, what that fuck do I know anyways. Probably nada.
