Tech | BassJump Portable Subwoofer
Designed exclusively for MacBook, BassJump is a one-of-a-kind, go anywhere, USB-powered subwoofer that turns your MacBook into a mini sound system. Custom software blends the music coming out of your built-in speakers with the sound output of the BassJump for dramatically enhanced audio performance. BassJump adds to your built-in MacBook speakers and make them sound even better by adding mid- and low-frequencies through one well-designed, travel-sized subwoofer. The included software combines audio coming from your MacBook speakers with the low frequency bass coming from the BassJump subwoofer. By blending up to two audio sources, you hear a dramatically richer, fuller sound. One single USB cable delivers power and sound. Looks pretty dope too! Pick one up HERE. (via)

30' x 8' Stencil Mural | Logan Hicks' "Sailor"
Brooklyn stencil artist extraordinaire Logan Hicks completed his largest stencil, a massive 30' x 8' image of his son, Sailor, playing with a train set. The piece is made with 5 layers and 150 stencil plates. Curated by Brooklyn Street Art for Espeis Outside Gallery. Says Hicks about his motivation to do this mural about his son,
"The funny thing about time is that you dont realize how fast it is passing until you have a kid to remind you. Each day my son grows, and although I love watching him sprout up, it reminds me of how quickly time is passing."See more of the nearly two-day process after the jump. FRESHNESS | The Escher Coffee Table
British designer Toby Howes had this to say about his Escher Coffee Table. "As the name suggests, the design was inspired by one of Escher’s bird & fish tessellation sketches & proved every bit as difficult as it looks to perfect all the angles! I wanted to create a modern design piece that combined my usual simplicity of style with a real edge & this is the result. I’m a strong believer in William Morris’s design philosophy “Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful” & I hope the Escher table fits the bill on both counts." Triumvir Winter 2009 | Hell Is For Heroes
The new Triumvir Winter 2009 Collection has been named “Hell is for Heroes”, I couldn't agree more. Triumvir presents a solid line-up of jackets, pants, denim, t-shirts and caps. The line is basically worked in all black, aside from the woven shirts. Graphics usually come tonal, once again highlighting the minimalist approach to the collection. Triumvir will release their Winter 2009 line today, November 13th, stoked! (via)

Overunder / NEVS | Pelican Point
Overunder/NEVS had this to say about himself and his work, "I started writing 'Nevada' back when I lived in Reno and shortened it to NEVS when I got to NY. Shortly after I tried to drop the traditional name graffiti and focus solely on a simple one-liner paper bird. Since moving back to the west coast I've been experimenting with all sorts of new materials and moving away from the paper bird icon."
"A few weeks ago I left the house with a hammer to see how that would affect my work. I ended up in some place called Pelican Point where there is a ton of collapsed and discarded wood. I took out my hammer, salvaged some nails, and repurposed the wood to spell NEVS." (via)

HARD | Goyard Trunk for The Black Sense Market
This DOPE trunk was made possible by the combo of French leather master Goyard and The Black Sense Market initiative by Sense Magazine from Japan. They worked with Goyard on a small trunk, which comes in a black colorway with black leather piping and numerous nice print details. A release date or production number of the trunk is not available so you probably won't be able to get one... Regardless, it's a pretty cool piece! (via)

New Face of Versace | Georgia May Jagger
Things are certainly going well for Mick Jagger's model daughter Georgia May Jagger. Tho, with a Rolling Stone for a dad and Jerry Hall for a mom what else would one expect for the 17-year-old stunner? Georgia has made the cover of British Vogue and been named the new face of Versace. Jagger has just been photographed for the ad campaign by Mario Testino. "She's smart, beautiful, full of energy and has a strong personality [with] that natural high star quality. I adore her," Donatella Versace told WWD. "She's perfect for this collection - a real Versace girl." Needless to say we'll be seeing a lot of this chick. (via)
